Statement of Beliefs and Vision

We are a Christian, non-denominational church

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. - John 14:6

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. - Romans 10:9

Our Beliefs

We believe the Holy Bible is God's infallible Word, written by men who were divinely and uniquely inspired, and that it is our supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

We believe in salvation by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ and that His blood was shed and His body broken for all in vicarious atonement for our sins. There is nothing we can do to "earn" our salvation. Jesus Christ accomplished that work for us on the cross. We do not merit salvation; it is the gift of God through Jesus Christ. Salvation is through faith and not through works.

We Believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, born of a virgin, sinless in life, who atoned for the sins of the world by His death on the cross.   We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His high priestly intercession for His people, and His personal, visible return to the earth in power and glory.

We Believe Jesus Christ is God, the Second Person of the Trinity or the Triune God, Who is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This is not three gods, but God Himself manifested in three different persons. Jesus Christ is eternal, from everlasting to everlasting, having no beginning and no end.

We Believe that all men are sinners by nature and by choice, but that those who accept Christ as Lord and Saviour shall be forever in God's presence in heaven, and that those who reject Christ as Lord and Saviour will forever be separated from God.

We Believe that the local church is composed of regenerated, baptized (immersed) believers in Christ, voluntarily united together for the purpose of worshiping God, having fellowship with other believers, and boldly proclaiming the Gospel of Christ throughout the whole world.

We believe that the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to individuals as He determines. Not all believers have the same gifts nor is there one specific spiritual gift that signifies that we are saved. All gifts are given to edify God and to accomplish the work of the church, which is to make disciples of all. All gifts are necessary for the church and each believer must work with others who have different gifts to accomplish the work of the church.

We believe in fellowship, in person, and face to face, on a regular basis. Such fellowship is necessary in order that we may hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, and to encourage one another unto love and to good works.

Vision

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. - Proverbs 29:18

A mature, sober-minded, Spirit-filled and family-oriented church full of love for Jesus Christ, the Church, the congregation, and mankind; - Mark 12:30 - 31

A church that ministers to and provides growth opportunities for all including children, teens, young adults, singles and couples; - Matthew 9:35 - 38

An evangelistic church that helps guide others to Christ; - Matthew 28:18 - 20

A church that can provide for it's own in times of trouble and reach out to others in times of need. - Proverbs 6:6 - 11
